Homer, Alaska

I drove down to Homer (at the south end of Kenai Peninsula) today.  It was 98 miles, only took 3 hours, mostly due to road construction.  It was a nice sunny day but when I got out of the truck in Homer it felt like winter.  It was only 61 in the sun with a nice cold wind off Cook Inlet.  I don't think I'll hang around here very long.

I decided not to lean on this railing held together with duct tape.  This is in the Homer Small Boat Harbor.
